In an attempt to reflect and capture the beauty of nature, designer Maximo Riera created some of the most incredible animal chairs that captivated the attention of interior design enthusiasts everywhere. Last year we featured the renowned Octopus Chair, and to kick off the new year we get a closer look at Maximo Riera’s Rhino Chair.

There were many different objects that Maximo could have utilized for his animal chairs collection, but he chose a chair simply because it is a common everyday object in our lives. “Whilst considering the chair’s basic functionality, I also wanted to bring it alive, make it more present and create a stronger link between the spectator, the piece and the surrounding space,” said Maxmio.
