Word As Image by Ji Lee

We are always on the hunt for awesome art, and ‘Word as Image’ is the definition of awesome. Word as Image is a book that depicts words as more than just simple letters.
The words convey their meaning through art, and bring life to otherwise dull, boring words allowing you to visually see the object. The project was created by author Ji Lee, who had the following to say about the book.
“When we were children, letters were like fun toys. We played with them through our building blocks. We colored them in books. We danced and sang along with TV puppets while learning C was for “cookie.” Soon, letters turned into words. Words turned into sentences. Sentences turned into thoughts. And along the way, we stopped playing with them and stopped marveling at A through Z.”
